From the moment we went on our first beach walk it was clear that our connection was strong. It seemed to effortlessly flow as we began courting one another. After our first date, we went backpacking into the Ventana wilderness and that evening we dancing around a fire till the sun came up. It was in part the wilderness we both loved that kept us so connected. Plunging into the Big Sur river to cool that situation down was necessary paired with lots of snuggles. Since those experiences, we have continued to deepen our relationship through our love of exploring. From taking the boat out diving to new depths to traveling the world, we have been emerging ourselves in the love of constant movement and new environments. Together, we have learned to free dive and spearfish. We have taught each other a depth of love and patience neither of us had ever experienced. Daily, we enjoy a cold plunge, hiking, gardening, skating and a well prepared meal. Even the kids at young ages have learned to partake in these activities. Jude, 9 years old, is thrilled to be in 4th grade and getting ready for football season. Emerson, 13 years old, is now entering 8th grade as the top dog and has her eye set on advancing her volleyball skills. Liv, 14 years old, is now entering into her first year of high school with a love of academic history competitions and volleyball. Melissa has been the missing piece to the family and David provides the laughs and light heartedness we all crave. We are all very excited to be spending the rest of our life’s together.
