SFO - San Francisco International Airport
The best airport to fly into is SFO (San Francisco International). A rideshare (Uber/ Lyft) is a 30-45 minute ride from the airport to downtown SF and 45-60 minutes to Marin County. BART (public transportation) also runs from SFO to downtown (Powell Station is closest to the hotel blocks): https://www.bart.gov/planner

The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square
A historic hotel in downtown San Francisco with a view of Union Square and surrounding landmarks. Easily accessible from BART/ MUNI public transportation. A 10 minute walk to Welcome Drinks at the University Club (though all uphill so pack your hiking boots or take the cable car up Powell St, a real San Francisco treat!) We will likely have a shuttle to the wedding. Room block prices for Standard Queen/ King rooms are $185/night.

Cavallo Point https://www.cavallopoint.com/ Just over the Golden Gate Bridge in Sausalito, it commands beautiful views of the Bay from the North Bay side and is a quiet, secluded resort with a great spa. We are also big Airbnb fans and recommend NOPA, Cole Valley, Noe Valley, Russian Hill, Upper Nob Hill neighborhoods. We are happy to opine on any potential Airbnbs/ hotels you are considering!
