We're Getting Married!

We were in Destin, FL because Chuck's band was playing there for the weekend. It was also my 30th birthday weekend so we figured it would be a great weekend for a mini vacation. We rented a pontoon boat the day before my actual birthday and had the whole band and several of our close friends who are like family on board. Chuck was steering the boat and pulled up to a spot so we could anchor the boat and hang out for the day. After about 10 minutes, Chuck, who was sitting next to me, whispered under his breath "alright it's time." He asked if the music could be turned down because he had a special announcement to make. Everyone had their phones out ready to record so I knew something was up. Chuck thanked everyone for coming out and celebrating my birthday with us, and then proceeded to say, "now to the main event." He turned towards me and then got down on one knee. It's all such a blur but it was the best day and we couldn't stop smiling! I can't wait to be Mrs. Miracle!
