Where is the wedding?

Answer

At Windows on the River, in the Riverview room. This is downtown in the Flats at the old Powerhouse building or the Aquarium. The entrance is on the far left, and the ceremony is right outside of the area, in the courtyard.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes, there is parking. You can park in the large lot right next to the venue. The place will give you a ticket in the invite to place on your car, and you'll be able to park anywhere in the parking lot.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

If you are in the family of the groom or the bride, you can. If you are not, we will not allow them. We love kids, and can't wait to have our own but, the venue really isn't that "kid friendly".

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual We are asking guests to dress somewhere between formal and casual. We recommend a nice dress or pantsuit for the ladies and a suit and tie or a sport coat for the gentlemen.

We live out of town, where do we stay for the two days?

Answer

We are working that out. Melissa's brother, Mike works at a Courtyard Meriott in University Circle, which is only around a 15 minute drive/ Urber to the ceremony.

What are we to expect at this wedding?

Answer

Dont worry! There will be fun things to do at the wedding. After the ceremony, the is about an hour cocktail hour with an open bar, live music and photo props to take pictures with. During the reception, there will be a buffet of three choices for your entrees, lots of sides to choose from and cupcakes! Don't worry. The bar will still be open! There will also be a DJ that will play a very wide variety of music the whole rest of the night.
