Brian and Melissa met on December 15, 2015, and from the first glance at bar trivia, something began to shift. What started as curiosity grew into a partnership that would carry them through every joy, every adventure, and every challenge life could throw their way.
They’ve traveled the coast together, built a home in Newport, and shared life with Simba, their steadfast companion and witness of 11 years. They’ve laughed, celebrated, and dreamed...but also faced trials that tested them to their core: long-distance stretches, family crises, a stage 4 cancer diagnosis, and a liver transplant that took them across the country. Through it all, they held onto each other, proving that love is strongest not in ease, but in endurance.
Now, back home and ready to embrace life fully, they are choosing to honor everything they’ve shared and survived by marrying in the eyes of the law! Their story is one of resilience, devotion, and a love that has been proven unbreakable.
