Question

Be Present With Us

Answer

We know it’s been a while since we’ve seen some of you! We’re so excited to reconnect, and we kindly ask that the day stays centered on celebrating, rather than big life updates or heavy conversations. Thank you for helping us keep it light and joyful.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Creative, semi-formal attire! We’d love for you to draw from our color palette (see the header image). Bold, fun looks and patterns are very welcome. We kindly ask that you avoid red, teal, black, and white. April weather can be a little unpredictable, so wear comfy shoes (sneakers are totally fine!) and your favorite layers. BYO hoodie, shawl, or blanket for when it gets chilly later. We want you dancing, not shivering!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 3rd. We know this invite was last-minute...but don’t return the favor… we’ve got sandwiches to order! 🥪 😂

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:00 PM so you’re settled—our ceremony begins promptly at 3:30.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

After a tough year, it means so much to celebrate with the people we know and love (you!). So invitations are limited to the names listed.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We’re planning an adults-focused evening and hope you can enjoy a night off! Come relax and celebrate with us!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please inform us of any allergies. No dying on the dance floor.

Question

Directions and Parking

Answer

Please navigate to Colt State Park and enter through the bull statues. Follow the main road, bearing left toward the park sign, with the water on your right. You’ll pass the fishing dock and the John H. Chafee statue (often with a seagull perched on his head!). Continue a bit further, then take the next left onto a clearly marked side road. Parking will be on your right, within sight of the pavilion and nearby restrooms. Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the pavilion. Just one easy destination once you arrive. 😊

Question

What will be served?

Answer

Casual, picnic-style bites and drinks (NOT potato salad). Just some tasty treats with something sweet for later!

Question

Photography

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony! Please no phones or cameras. For the rest of the day, we’d prefer candid moments only (no pulling us away from conversations for posed photos) so we can stay present. We’ll be sharing a QR code for POV where you can upload your snaps to our gallery!
