Here are some recommendations for things to do during your stay! We highly encourage our guests to explore available activities in the area (on and off the resort), especially if you plan on spending more time in beautiful Costa Rica before or after the wedding. Check back for updates on optional excursion packages.

Tours with Frank the Tank

Frank is a local guide that provides a wide range of tours and will be arranging our catamaran boat tour on Thursday. Here are some awesome tours he provides: Rio Celeste waterfall hike and sloths, Wildlife river safari, Water combo: Fishing, snorkeling, and more, ATV adventure, Sunset cruise, Zipline, Fishing, Adventure/ Adrenaline Combo Tour You can best contact him though Facebook Messenger: https://www.facebook.com/Frankthetanktours Note: It may take 24 hours for Frank to respond. He is very flexible, accommodating, and approachable through FB messenger. Although he does speak English, Spanish is his primary language. When communicating with him, make sure all details are clear and understood by both parties to avoid any miscommunication.

Skip Dream's gift shop. If you have the option, ask your shuttle transport to take you to this gift shop. It's much more affordable with a wider selection. American dollar accepted.

Culebra Bay

For other luxury hotels and accommodations closer to the airport: This is a popular beach area only 30 min. from the airport. The Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica, Secrets Papagayo, and El Mangroove are just a few of the resorts located in this area. Approx. 2 hours from Dreams Las Mareas.

Tamarindo Beach

Tamarindo, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica

For guests that may want to visit and stay in other parts of CR before or after the wedding: This is a popular beach area for travelers. You can find a number of hotels, Airbnbs, and restaurants here. Approx. 2.5 hours from Dreams Las Mareas.

Arenal Volcano

Alajuela Province, Costa Rica

For guests who enjoy the outdoors and are feeling adventurous: Costa Rica is known for its eco-friendly lodges, resorts, and spas and there is plenty in this area that ranges between rustic and minimal to luxury. This is a popular site to visit for its rainforest and volcano tours. Approx. 3.5 hours from Dreams Las Mareas.
