El Indio/ The Naked Indian
Authentic and very casual seafood outside of the resort. Contact them through Facebook messenger and they will send a car to pick you up from the resort.
Restaurante La Copaleña
Another casual off-the-resort restaurant with a great view of Salinas Bay.
Tico Souvenirs
Skip Dream's gift shop. If you have the option, ask your shuttle transport to take you to this gift shop. It's much more affordable with a wider selection. American dollar accepted.
Culebra Bay
For other luxury hotels and accommodations closer to the airport: This is a popular beach area only 30 min. from the airport. The Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica, Secrets Papagayo, and El Mangroove are just a few of the resorts located in this area. Approx. 2 hours from Dreams Las Mareas.
Tamarindo Beach
For guests that may want to visit and stay in other parts of CR before or after the wedding: This is a popular beach area for travelers. You can find a number of hotels, Airbnbs, and restaurants here. Approx. 2.5 hours from Dreams Las Mareas.
Arenal Volcano
For guests who enjoy the outdoors and are feeling adventurous: Costa Rica is known for its eco-friendly lodges, resorts, and spas and there is plenty in this area that ranges between rustic and minimal to luxury.
