There are plenty of hotel options downtown and Airbnbs throughout the city. If you're unfamiliar with Chicago, it might be a good idea to check with Melinda or Nick to make sure the location makes sense before you book.
DANK Haus is accessible on public transit from SOME areas of the city, particularly the Brown Line. It's about a 5-minute walk from the Western Brown Line stop and about a 30-40 min ride on the Brown Line from downtown, depending on what hotel you end up at.
