To help us finalize plans with our venue, caterer, and other vendors, we kindly ask that all guests RSVP by the deadline indicated on the formal invitation. We are required to provide an accurate guest count ahead of the wedding, so if we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, we will unfortunately have to mark you as unable to attend. We completely understand that plans can change, but we appreciate your timely response so we can make the necessary arrangements and ensure a wonderful experience for everyone celebrating with us.
Due to the size of our venue and its limited guest capacity, we have had to make some difficult decisions regarding our guest list. While we would love to celebrate with everyone and extend a plus-one to all of our guests, we simply do not have the space to accommodate additional attendees. We have also chosen to keep our wedding more intimate, allowing us to spend meaningful time with the family and friends who have played such an important role in our lives. To ensure we can comfortably host our loved ones and create the close-knit atmosphere we envision for our special day, plus-ones have been limited to a select number of guests. If a plus-one has been reserved for you, it will be clearly indicated on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and support and are so grateful to celebrate this special occasion with you.
To help keep our celebration intimate and within the venue's capacity, only children specifically invited will be included on the invitation. If your child is invited, their name will be clearly listed on your invitation and RSVP details. We kindly ask that guests respect this guideline, as we are unable to accommodate additional children who are not included on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we finalize arrangements for our special day.
Our wedding celebration will be held entirely outdoors, so we encourage guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire in any colors they choose other than white. Please keep in mind that the venue includes grass and some uneven terrain, so guests, especially those planning to wear heels, may want to keep this in mind when deciding on footwear. You may also wish to bring a change of shoes to enjoy the evening more comfortably. While a tent will be provided, weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend coming prepared for changing conditions, whether that means bringing a light jacket, umbrella, or other weather-appropriate items. Most importantly, we want everyone to feel comfortable, relaxed, and able to fully enjoy the celebration.
We'll be serving dinner from Coastal Crust's wood-fired pizza truck, where fresh pizzas are made right on-site in their built-in oven for guests to enjoy. Before the pizzas are served, a selection of light hors d'oeuvres will be available during cocktail hour. Coastal Crust offers a variety of options, including vegetarian, dairy-free, and gluten-free crusts. Please note that while gluten-free crust is available, all pizzas are cooked in the same oven as regular crust pizzas, so we cannot guarantee that they are completely free from cross-contamination. In addition, we'll have a bar truck serving water, soft drinks, beer, wine, and liquor throughout the evening. We hope everyone finds something they enjoy and comes ready to eat, drink, and celebrate with us!
Parking attendants will begin directing guests to the designated parking area one hour before the ceremony. Guests will be guided to park in the lot located along the fence next to the Avenue of Oaks. For anyone who may need assistance getting to the ceremony location, golf carts will be available to provide transportation. Please note that the gravel lot behind the house is reserved exclusively for the planner and catering staff. Wedding party members are strongly encouraged to carpool, as parking close to Legare Waring House is limited. Additionally, no vehicles may be left overnight in the parking area. Any cars remaining after the event must be moved to the main parking lot at Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site and picked up in the morning.
