Where Should I stay?

Answer

We have 3 options of lodging at different price points for your convenience. Each option has a reduced rate when booked through our website. All the lodging options are in the same area and within a 10 min walk or 3 min shuttle ride of the ceremony and reception.

What should I wear?

Answer

We are requesting guests dress in cocktail attire. Your comfort is our priority. If you would like to take this opportunity to dress more formally, go for it! The ceremony will be at the top of the mountain where it is very sunny. Sunglasses are recommended!

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at the summit of Stratton Mountain. You will need to take a 15 minute ride on the gondola. Please factor the short 3 minute shuttle ride from the hotels to the gondola and the 15 minute gondola ride into your timing. Please note, at the summit you will have a short 1 min walk on a gravel path. Ladies, block heels, wedges or a change of shoes are recommended. The summit tends to be very sunny, guests are advised to bring sunglasses.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Stratton Vermont in August will vary from 50-70 degrees. It may be windy at the top of the mountain during our ceremony. Please bring a light jacket if you would like.

When should I get to the ceremony?

Answer

To get to the ceremony you may choose to walk or ride the shuttle. The shuttle will run in a continuous loop from 2:30-3:10pm. GUESTS MUST load the gondola by 3:15 in order to get to the reception which starts promptly at 4:00pm.
