This is a GREAT zoo for all ages! This is where the bride chose to celebrate her 40th birthday. A cross between a regular zoo and petting zoo - get up close to animals that you can usually only see from afar (but only if you want to - it's not scary).
Beautiful way to spend the day checking out all the different flowers and plants. Great way to spend the day outside without too much uphill walking. If you visit here, make sure to check out Chatfield State Park which is just across the street or drive 15 minutes south the hidden gem of Roxborough State Park (right next to where the Groom grew up and where the couple currently lives)!
Rent some kayaks or paddleboards (or depending on the day, see if the bride and groom are available to take you out on their surf boat!). You can also bike, walk, horseback ride, fly model airplanes - lots of fun outdoor options.
This is a hidden gem of a state park in Colorado. It's not usually very crowded and you get some amazing views of Colorado's red rocks. Get out for quick day hike and let the bride and groom know when you're going - they live just 5 minutes away.
This state park is closer to the venue and where you may be staying. Enjoy a nice day hike and keep an eye out for rock climbers and maybe you'll spot the bride making her way up a boulder!
Get your stair master legs ready! Start at 6,350 feet and hike up to 8,550 feet in .9 miles at an average grade of 41% - plus a 1.5 mi hike in and back (3 miles roundtrip...5 miles with the incline round trip).
It's Topgolf :)
Indoor/Outdoor shopping mall with both casual and upscale shops and restaurants.
Who doesn't love outlet shopping? Find some great deals at this big outdoor shopping mall.
This is one of the bride's most favorite places in Colorado! It's quite the drive from Denver, but if you're around for a few days and want a majestic outdoor experience, we highly recommend going anywhere in the park. Check out Trailridge Road - it's only open in the summer time so it's a special treat if you can make it.
