What is the theme of the wedding?

Answer

The theme of the wedding is "The Adventure of a Lifetime". Think woodland, whimsical, middle earth, and magical. Please feel free to dress according to the theme.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black tie optional/black tie creative. Please feel free to wear anything from a nice party outfit to your finest event attire. Creative elements that match the theme are welcome. The suggested colors include browns, greens, pinks, and other earth tones. The color scheme is only a suggestion, please wear whatever you are comfortable in. The bride kindly requests no solid white, cream, or ivory outfits be worn by guests.

Why do I need to sign a waiver?

The reason for the waiver is a surprise! If you choose not to sign the waiver, an alterative will be provided to you on the day of the event.

Who do I make out a check to if I'd like to give cash?

Answer

Please make out checks to either Meldia Sharpe or Jacob Sina. Meldia will be changing her name, but not until after the honeymoon to avoid an international issue due to a name change on her passport. This means she will not be able to cash the check for more than a month. It will make it much easier on the couple if checks are made out in Meldia's maiden name or only to Jacob.

Unless a space for a plus one was indicated on your invitation, please do not bring any additional guests.

There is a vegetarian dinner option but not a vegan option.

Can I park my car overnight at the venue?

Answer

Yes, but cars must be picked up by 10AM on Saturday.

The event is in a public park, can I bring my pet?

Pets are not allowed on park grounds. Please do not bring any pets.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Will answer soon, but beer and wine will be served. There will be no hard liquor served as per venue rules, so please do not bring any outside alcohol onto the venue grounds. There is a hefty fine for outside alcohol that will be placed on Meldia and Jacob if any guest is caught with outside alcohol.
