Sonoma Plaza
Less than 1 mile away from the hotel is the heart of Sonoma. Tons of places to eat, drink, and shop! We love to grab a glass at Roche Winery (or grab a bottle), a snack from the girl & the fig (right next door), and head to the park to enjoy.

Sunflower Caffé
Our favorite breakfast spot in Sonoma & right on the square! This farm to table cafe has an amazing outdoor patio, yummy coffee, and fabulous food. We highly suggest!
Wit & Wisdom Sonoma
Wit & Wisdom Sonoma is Chef Michael Mina’s first venture into wine country dining and delivers Mina’s signature flair with a highly curated culinary experience perfect for any time of day. This charming wine country tavern offers American comfort food and a robust wine list nestled in the heart of Sonoma. The restaurant features regional California cuisine cooked on a hearth oven, buoyed by a magnificent wine program as only MINA delivers. (This is on the hotel property as well!)
Kivelstadt Cellars Wine Garden & Eatery
Kivelstadt Cellars Wine Garden & Eatery has become a quick favorite for us! We love to eat on their patio, enjoy their local wines, and farm-to-table food! Bonus - they have live music almost every day! Definitely, a fun spot to grab a drink. a bite, and hang out!
HopMonk Tavern Sonoma
Just a block or two from the hotel, this is one of our favorite spots to grab a beer and a bite. In the summer they have live music and it's gorgeous out in their patio area. Perfect place to ride your bike to!
Viansa Sonoma Winery & Tasting Room
Just a 10-minute drive from the hotel is our wine club! We cannot recommend this place enough. We immediately fell in love with the gorgeous 270° views, the 33 acres of vineyards, 97 acres of wetlands, their outlook stations, and of course their delicious wines. We love to go for a tasting (or a bottle), grab fun snacks from their market place, and sit out on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous views. Let them know we sent you!
Lagunitas Brewing Company
Just a hop skip and a jump from Sonoma is Petaluma, where our home is. We are absolutely in love with this town (especially downtown). One of our favorite spots to grab a brew & listen to live music is Lagunitas. There are giant tables outside, live music every day, and the burgers are AMAZING - honestly, their food is super yummy, you can't go wrong!
Gloria Ferrer Wines
The estate, overlooking the Carneros area of Sonoma Valley, offers beautiful views paired with estate wines and shareable plates. Great place to relax. Great place to stop either before or after heading to our winery, Viansa or Gloria Ferrer (all 3, as well as many other wonderful wineries, are on the same road!).
Cline Cellars
Gorgeous estate with yummy wines. We love to go there as a stop either before or after we visit our wine club, Viansa. There are many wineries on this main road, we love them all!
Larson Family Winery
The Larson Family has worked their winery land since 1899. After raising dairy cows, ponies and horses, they planted their first vines in 1977 and now produce 5,000 cases annually. The winery is family-friendly and that includes dog members of the family too.
The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa
Spa day anyone? Recently redone, this spa is gorgeous and only $25 to use the facilities for those staying at the hotel.

Another great spa option! One of Wine Country's iconic destinations, the spectacular, state-of-the-art Willow Stream spa spans 40,000-square-feet across a rotunda, 36 treatment rooms, and indoor and outdoor pools.
Sonoma Golf Club
Playing just over 7,100 yards from the championship tees, this classic layout offers strategic choices and challenges that excite golfers swinging graphite and titanium just as it did when they were carrying hickory and persimmon. At its heart, is a treasured "core golf" experience set on 177 acres of rolling terrain highlighted by massive oaks, lakes and sweeping vistas of the Mayacamas Mountains and neighboring vineyards.
