Chautauqua Park & the Flatirons: Iconic hiking trails with sweeping views; options range from easy walks to challenging climbs. Rocky Mountain National Park: Located just outside of Estes Park and an hour drive from boulder. It offers stunning views and a lot of hiking trails. It requires a timed permit to get into Bear Creek Road so plan a head of time. Boulder Creek Path: Scenic path for walking or biking through town; great for a relaxed stroll. Mount Sanitas: Popular local hike with rewarding views of Boulder. Wonderland Lake Park: Peaceful lake loop ideal for an easy walk or picnic. Boulder Reservoir: Paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, and lakeside trails (seasonal). Eldorado Canyon State Park: Renowned for rock climbing and dramatic canyon hikes just outside Boulder.
Downtown & Culture
Pearl Street Mall: Pedestrian-friendly area with shops, galleries, restaurants, and street performers. Thrift Shopping: Many places in the Pearl Street Mall. We also like to check out the Goodwill in Boulder. Boulder Farmers’ Market Museum of Boulder Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (BMoCA)
