Val is the brides little sister/ adopted daughter. Once the couple moved in together, Val took it upon herself to fill the groom's office with works of art: post-its that say "Val was here" with the date.

In addition to being happy to share this special day with her older brother, "JoJo," she is even more excited at the idea of dressing up and will not rest until the bride tells her what dress she will wear and whether she can have curls in her hair or not.
