Kelly is the truest friend anyone could ever ask for! Mel couldn't be luckier Kelly decided to move to Oregon in 2016 and move in with a random Craigslist girl :)

Colin and Jake met through Mike and were roommates at the Rita house from 2017-2020 (with Tanner). Colin solely convinced Jake to get his dog, Zoey (Jake's second favorite girl).

Emma and Melanie met in high school freshman year P.E., went to U of O together and now talk pretty much everyday updating each other on every second of their life (which mostly involves our cat updates). Emma is the LIFE of the party, loved by everyone and Emma WILL do the worm if Evan does the worm. :)

Kylie and Melanie met sophomore year (HS) sharing a love for running in Cross Country. Even though Kylie was a WAY better (and faster) runner than Melanie, she always ran Melanie's pace so they could spend time catching up on high school drama and solidifying a friendship that has gone through 16+ years.

Tanner and Jake met at Oregon State University and were roommates at the Rita House from 2017-2020 (with Colin). They worked together at the same office where Tanner introduced Jake to all the good lunch spots.

Sakiko and Melanie have known each other their entire lives thanks to their dads who were host brothers when Mel's dad did an exchange program in Japan during his high school years. Our friendship is special because from babies to adulthood, we've made many memories both in Oregon and Japan and continue to remain close despite the distance living around the world and a language barrier.
