Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The cermony will be in the Boat House, which has a roof over it. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be inside the Belvedere.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unless stated otherwise on your invitation, we are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list to those who know us very well.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

While we love your children, we cannot accomodate guests under the age of 21 at our wedding venue.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

ABSOLUTELY!!! Open bar will begin at cocktail hour and run through the duration of the reception. Feel free to tip your bartenders, as we expect they will be working hard!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we do not entirely understand the difference between "formal" and "cocktail" attire, we do request that you wear your best! For the women, this means elegant dresses or jumpsuits. For the men, suits or sports jackets with dress pants.

What color will the bridesmaids be wearing?

Answer

“Blue Jay” blue.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Travel" section of our website which includes a link to our wedding block at the Sonesta in Foxborough.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, buses will be arriving at the Sonesta Hotel at 3:45 pm and leaving promptly at 3:55 pm to bring guests to Lake Pearl. Buses will depart Lake Pearl at 10:15 pm to bring guests back to the hotel.

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking on site if you choose to responsibly drive.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during our special day. Take as many photos as you would like at the cocktail hour and reception!

What will my meal be?

Answer

We are doing a buffet style dinner. There will be options for beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian available.

While we will not be hosting a formal after party, we would love to see you after the wedding at Jake n JOES, which is located steps away from the hotel.
