Golf or Tennis at Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Club
This is the only 18-hole golf course on the island. The facility also has 2 tennis courts. You may call or go online to book a tee time or reserve a court. The phone number for Reservations is 877.218.9124 and for the Pro Shop it is +1 649.946.5991. About a 10 minute drive from The Sands and The Palms.
The Fish Fry
A weekly open-air event held every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Stubbs Diamond Plaza in the Bight (about a 10 minute walk from The Palms and The Sands) that is a place to sample local food and drinks and experience live music. Admission is free and dress is casual. Because of the popularity, lines for food and drink can be long and places to sit and eat can be limited, so it's best to get there early! It's also recommended to bring cash, as some vendors do not accept card payments.
Snorkeling at Coral Gardens (also known as Bight Reef)
This snorkeling area is about a 15-20 minute walk down the beach from The Palms and The Sands. The reef is accessible directly from the beach where you can walk out through the shallow water to the roped off area. Snorkel gear is included in the complimentary non-motorized water sport equipment offerings provided at The Palms and The Sands.
Dinner Restaurant - Coco Bistro
A wonderful standalone restaurant that is about a 6 minute drive from The Palms and The Sands. One of our favorite meals from our trip! Local Cuisine, Caribbean Open Monday to Sunday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Reservations are required for parties of all sizes and can be made by phone.
Dinner Restaurant - SUI-REN
A restaurant located at The Shore Club, which is about a 10 minute drive from The Palms and The Sands, offers a Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian flair and comes highly recommended! Sushi Open Sunday to Saturday 6:30 PM - 10:30 PM Reservations can be made on OpenTable or by phone.
Dinner Restaurant - Marine Room
A standalone restaurant with a large menu and beautiful scenery that is a 5 minute drive from The Palms and The Sands. Mediterranean Open Monday to Saturday 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM Reservations are available through their website, OpenTable, or by phone.

A casual restaurant for either lunch or dinner that is about a 10 minute walk from The Palms and The Sands. Caribbean, Bar Food Open Daily 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Lunch/Dinner - Da Conch Shack
Restaurant Phone Number: +1 649.946.8877 Reservations Phone Number: +1 649.244.9107 Beachside restaurant and bar that is one of the most popular on the island. They have either live music or a DJ most nights. Wednesday evenings are their most popular as they have a performance from Junkanoo, which is a traditional Bahamian and Caribbean processional parade that features dancers and musicians in colorful costumes. This is about a 15 minute drive from The Palms and The Sands. Caribbean, Bar Food Kitchen Open Daily 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM Reservations are required on Wednesday nights. This can be done by going to the Reservations tab on their website or via phone. They require at least 24-48 hours advance notice.

A short walk on the beach from either The Palms or The Sands, this restaurant is a part of the Sibonne Beach Hotel.
