The plan is definitely by wedding time! When we began the immigration process, we were quoted a 6-8 month wait time. We are now 13 months in. It has been a long, long process, made longer by change in immigration law as well as the pandemic. We miss each other. Luckily, our case is approved and we are over the biggest hurdle, and now are waiting on his actual visa to be processed at a very backed up embassy,
We are committed first and foremost to the safety of our friends and family, and provided guidelines continue to allow us to hold our wedding in person, we will follow any necessary guidelines to make sure our loved ones and vendors are safe as we celebrate our lives together! We are luckily holding our wedding outside and our reception in an outdoor tent. We will ensure that there are enough tables to socially distance and will have plenty of masks and hand sanitizer available. If anything changes regarding our wedding plans, we will keep you posted!
Day by day! Obviously, Bacar moving from Mozambique to America is a big change, on top of myself moving back to America after being in Madagascar for the last five years. While we have some ideas and dreams over the next few years, our focus getting settled together in our lives in America, spending time with family, and enjoying marriage.
