What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Please arrive at 5:30 PM on Saturday. Heads up, this party goes late! We invite you to kick off your Sunday shoes and dance ‘til the clock strikes midnight (but actually).

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Please reach out if you’d like information on childcare in the area.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

California cocktail: elevated summer evening dresses and crisp button downs and slacks (coats optional). Temperatures drop in SLO when the sun goes down; make sure to bring a light jacket.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Plenty of it. And you’re welcome to leave your car overnight. Ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft are easy in the area, and a local service, SLO Safe Ride, is readily available.

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

Answer

While we all hope this thing we'll be behind us by this point, we will be monitoring all state and local guidelines ahead of the wedding to ensure our guests' safety. To help mitigate risk, we will strongly encourage all guests to get tested prior to attending our events, regardless of vaccination status. Our ceremony and reception will be partially indoor/outdoor, and while we won't require it for all guests, you are welcome to wear a mask indoors if that is more comfortable for you. Lastly, if you are feeling sick leading up to the event, we do ask that you sit this one out for the safety of all.

Anything else I should know?

Throughout the wedding evening, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos on your phones so our photographers and videographers can capture your faces rather than your devices. We have an amazingly talented creative team—who happen to be great friends of ours!—and they also love to share; we look forward to distributing their photos and videos with you all after the wedding!
