Groom's Party
Brother of the Groom. He attained the spot of best man despite beating Quinn in "Halo" literally every time they played.
Bridal Party
Olivia is Melanie's oldest younger sibling, but more accurately, her seeeeeester. From a very young age, people noticed that Mel and Liv didn't really look like each other at all (still true) and that expands into their wildly different personalities, interests, and lives. Despite being such opposite people, the two couldn't get along better. Apologies if you catch them mid-conversation and can't follow a single thing they're talking about. Olivia is an accomplished rock climber and absolutely can beat you in a fight, but would rather not. If you have a cute dog, you can probably be friends.
Groom's Party
A close friend of the groom from college. Their friendship was solidified when Nick asked Quinn at the gym if he and Mel were exclusive, or as he phrased it "Sclusies"
Bridal Party
Vince is Melanie's youngest sibling, and easily her favorite brother. Mel still remembers holding Vince at the hospital the day he was born, babysitting him when he was a kid and she was... an older kid, and baking him avocado brownies. Now, Vince babysits Mel and Quinn's dog Lola, bakes Mel delicious snacks (sorry to everyone who hasn't had a Vince-made pretzel), and is supporting Mel as her Man of Honor. Vince is a high school student, a brilliant artist, and has grown taller than his siblings despite being the youngest.
Groom's Party
A close friend of Quinn's from High School. Their friendship is known for 48 hour whirlwind hangouts whenever both of them are in the same time zone (about twice a year)
Bridal Party
Ali and Melanie met at Northwestern, but more specifically at the first rehearsal of the Freshman Musical, and they became inseparable friends a year later when they were both subletting the same apartment. Two years after that, Ali spent months trying to push Mel and Quinn together. She knew they needed to date before either of them did. Thanks, Ali!
Groom's Party
Jon is a close friend of Quinn's from college where they shared a suite Freshman year. Thirty years from now you will find them losing their minds at Ryan Field while Northwestern Football finds new and innovative ways to lose football games.
Bridal Party
Amelia is Mel's college friend, former roommate (so, also Quinn's roommate for a minute there), later neighbor, and current coworker. Mel can always count on Amelia for a theatre day, a thrifting day, a crafting day, a baking day, or just a friend day. Amelia took the very first picture of Mel & Quinn as a couple, and later took their engagement photos.
Groom's Party
Alex is a good friend of Quinn's from college. The two briefly lived together while doing regional theatre in Indiana, and share the fiercest whiffle ball rivalry in the midwest. There is a decent chance they are texting each other about baseball right now while you are reading this.
Bridal Party
Emily is Mel's friend from college, but someone she REALLY bonded with after they both graduated. Emily is a thrifting and DIY genius and has either inspired or directly taught Mel to do several projects, and she has the most magical mind for arts education (Mel was Emily's teaching assistant for a while!) Mel caught Emily's wedding bouquet, so we really all have her to thank for this occasion.
Groom's Party
Katie is a close friend of Quinn's from college. They have coached each other's auditions, traveled Europe together, and once had to sit through the worst play in the history of time (This is not an opinion by the way, please ask us about it).
Bridal Party
The first Quinn that Mel ever loved, THIS Quinn was a fellow Performance Studies major with Mel in Northwestern's tiny department. Quinn gave Mel her first ukulele after they graduated and basically changed her whole life. They've exchanged potted plants, decorated each other's apartments with alley furniture, and cooked countless vegan meals together.
Groom's Party
Alex was Quinn's first friend when he started attending Brookfield Academy in 4th Grade, and has remained a close friend for nearly two decades. From shooting air soft guns in Alex's basement to....playing video games in Quinn's basement, the two have remained close. Even after Alex was forced to attend Quinn's musicals.
Bridal Party
Mel's #1 running buddy, and thus one of her most trusted confidantes. He's also one of the most supportive people you could imagine having in your life, especially if your love language is pie. He probably won't talk to you at the wedding. He's the first person she told when she bought a ring for Quinn.
Dog of the Groom
A dog so cute that Quinn was forced to break his "We can only have one dog" rule.
Dog of the Bride
Lola was Melanie's puppy until Mel and Quinn moved in together, and she became theirs. She was given her middle name by Quinn when he officially adopted her.
Officiant
Bryan survived living with Mel through half of college AND watching sports with Quinn for almost a decade AND still loves both of them. There is literally no one more qualified to marry them.
