In our freshman year of college at Seattle U, Mekenzie was invited to dinner with some girl friends for the night. On the way to dinner she was told “We have to stop and get the boys”. Little did she know Mitchell, along with two of his teammates, would be waiting in the lobby of Bellarmine hall before heading out in Capitol Hill for burgers at Dick’s Drive-in.

The day before heading to our first California Christmas together we decided to have a “Christmas Eve Eve Eve” celebration, just the two of us. After a very nerve-racking glass at Gig Harbor’s local wine bar, Mitchell asked to walk outside to the viewpoint overlooking the harbor. After some loving words and a few tears, Mitchell got on one knee and asked Mekenzie to be his wife.

We are blessed to have so many great people in our lives and can’t wait to say I do and celebrate with you all!
