The observatory building itself is temporarily closed due to COVID, but the park and grounds are open. At the top of the hill around the outside of the observatory you get a fantastic view of Los Angeles. If you can catch it around sundown, even better!

King's Hawaiian Bakery & Restaurant

This restaurant is right in our neighborhood, and the food is delicious!! If you have time to stop by, it's worth a visit. This is the only King's Hawaiian restaurant on mainland U.S.
