What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear a nice dress, skirt and blouse, a well-tailored pantsuit, or a dressy jumpsuit. Gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat and slacks.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Most likely it will be sunny and warm during the day, but once the sun sets the breeze can pick up and it can get a little chilly. Bring a sweater or a light jacket just in case!

Are face masks required?

Answer

The venue is encouraging everyone to wear face masks, but they are not required!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are being held at the same venue: Hidden Oaks Retreat Center

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our entire event will be held outdoors! There are a lot of shade trees on the property, but be prepared for some sun during the first half of the evening. Bring your sunglasses!

Where should I park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free. You can enter at the private driveway entrance to Hidden Oaks, and someone will be there directing parking to help you find a spot.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

We will be serving a full sit down meal at our reception.

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

Please do not take any centerpieces/decorations/flowers home with you unless we say that it is okay! We will make an announcement if there are items we wish to send away with guests :)
