The Boathouse at Sunday Park
This was where Jacob took Gabby for their first date, driving up 2.5 hours from North Carolina less than a week after connecting on Holy, a Christian dating app. They hadn't met yet, but Jacob knew that she was special and he wanted the date to reflect that. Jacob grew up right down the street from Sunday Park and had spent a lot of his childhood there and he wanted to take her somewhere special. After dinner, there's a beautiful trail that Jacob and Gabby walked down and got to sit by the water and get to know each other. It was the fastest 4 hours 😌
Stumpy's Hatchet House - Richmond
We went here on our second date for a day of competition! Gabby and Jacob are both HIGHLY competitive and it was a battle to the death...we'll let you guess who won 😉
Fall Line Kitchen & Bar
We went here on our second date and this is the date that we both realized we'd spend the rest of our lives together. It sounds pretty early, but we knew. And to prove we knew, we actually kept something from this restaurant that we'll be revealing during the wedding...😉

Our spot ☺️ Jacob scouted this hidden gem out because he knew Gabby would love it. We first visited the weekend after Valentine's Day and then again to celebrate after Jacob proposed! Nestled into a neighborhood in The Fan, it's a beautiful, upscale dining experience with unique dishes crafted by the husband and wife chef duo! Highly recommend 👌🏼
