Haig Point Club

While Haig Point is a beautiful location for our wedding ceremony and reception, it is also ideal for a destination wedding weekend. All wedding weekend events will take place on Daufuskie Island so we want to encourage all guests to stay on site. You can think of the island as one big "bed and breakfast"; we encourage you to sync up with friends and family to share a home and most people/couples would have their own bedroom and bathroom pending your housing selection. If you need recommendations on who to room with, please reach out to me or Ryan! One quick note, while we love all your little ones, this will be an adult only wedding. We hope that the advance notice means you are still able to join us! We've compiled a spreadsheet (linked below) listing all rental homes for you to browse prior to booking. We'd advise you to secure your reservations as soon as possible. Once you're ready to book, you can call (843) 341-8192 or email reservations@haigpoint.com to confirm availability and to book. Haig Point requires a 25% deposit at the time of reservation with the remaining balance to be charged 30 days prior to arrival. Please note, there is a 2-night minimum to book. For context, Ryan and I will be arriving on Thursday 6/5, departing back to Hilton Head on Sunday 6/8. We encourage you to spend as much time on the island as you desire!

Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV)

The Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is approximately ~1 hour from the Haig Point Ferry Embarkation Center. You can either Uber to the Embarkation Center or rent a car (see parking details).

Hilton Head Island Airport (HHH)

The Hilton Head Island Airport is approximately ~10 minutes from the Haig Point Ferry Embarkation Center. While this is certainly more convenient, HHH is a very small airport offering limited flights on a daily basis. You can either Uber to the Embarkation Center or rent a car (see parking details).

Haig Point Ferry

Haig Point Embarkation Ferry Dock - 10 Haig Point Ct, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928 The Haig Point ferry departs from Hilton Head on the 30th minute of every hour and departs from Haig Point on the 40th minute of every hour. The last ferry departing Hilton Head leaves at 11:30 pm and the last ferry departing Haig Point leaves at 11:40 pm. It is approximately a ~30 minute ferry ride from Hilton Head to Daufuskie, vice-versa.

Parking

Whether you plan on renting a car from the airport or driving your own car, parking is available free of charge at the Embarkation Center (10 Haig Point Court Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 29928). The valet stand will receive baggage, golf clubs, and other personal items. All will be delivered to your accommodations at Haig Point.

Transportation

Once on Daufuskie Island, everyone makes their way around on bikes or electric-powered golf carts making for a truly unforgettable time. Each rental home comes with one four-seater golf cart. Additional carts can be rented: Four-seater - $75 per day Six-seater - $100 per day Please confirm the golf cart accommodations you'll need when securing your rental home reservation.
