Maid of Honor
Jess and Meagan met in 9th grade and have been best friends and sisters ever since. We've traveled the world together, been each other's plus ones for ages, and after being single together for too long to count, we got engaged within months of each other, finally bringing our famous Singles Club to an end. There's no one in the world I'd rather have by my side on my wedding day (to cover my hives, talk my stress level down, and provide prosecco when needed) than Jess.
Best Man
Casey is Ryan’s younger but much taller brother. Chances are if you know me, you’ve definitely met my giant counterpart. We grew up experiencing everything in life together and as adults, we both lived in Brooklyn where we had our own business. We are now in very similar careers and both homeowners 10 minutes down the road from each other not too far from where we grew up in NH. I’ve learned over the years that I am very lucky to also call my brother my best friend.
Bridesmaid
Dana is married to Meagan's brother Matt and Meagan truly could not have chosen a better sister-in-law if she tried. We are two peas in a pod, enjoying the same things, having similar senses of humor, and just clicking; when the four of us are together, it's always the best time. I had the privilege of being a bridesmaid in Matt and Dana's wedding and wouldn't want to get married without Dana by my side.
Groomsman
Matthew is Meagan’s brother and married to Dana (Bridesmaid). Meagan and Matt share a lifetime of memories but it was clear from the first time we met that Matt and I were long-lost brothers. We both share a mutual love for all things music, pop culture, exploring, and an unhealthy obsession with Marcus Smart. On my wedding day, I will not only walk away with my wife but I will also be gaining another incredible brother.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn is married to Ryan's brother Casey, and the three of them lived together in New York and have countless memories together. Katelyn welcomed Meagan into the family, and I am so lucky to have her as a friend and SIL. We laugh so hard together, have created great memories, and I'm so glad to have her by my side for the wedding and throughout this life.
Groomswoman
Paige and Ryan met in middle school and have been best friends since. We spent almost our entire 20’s in New York together where we worked at Fish (RIP), created “86’D” the web series, and explored the city while making questionable decisions. One of my favorite experiences was when Paige decided to move to LA and we drove across the country together. It was a bittersweet experience knowing that there would be a lot of distance between us but a day doesn’t go by where we don’t talk to each other. Paige is one of the best people I’ve ever met and has always said she would be by my side wearing a bowtie when I got married.
Bridesman
Rich and Meagan met for the first time when they moved into an apartment together in grad school in 2004 and have been the best of friends ever since. Rich just "gets" me, we have the best laughs together, we understand each other and always take care of each other, have the best dance parties, and just too many ridiculous memories to count. Even though we've lived apart for many years, our friendship remains stronger than ever.
Groomsman
Jeff and Ryan met on the first day of college. Jeff and I lived in the same dorm, were suitemates for a few years, and had almost every class together. We did an insane road trip to Miami for Spring Break, watched Tom Brady play one of his best games in the playoffs, and have been there for each other for all the important things in life. In case you’re wondering why we are not serving dinner rolls at our wedding, feel free to ask Jeff about it.
Bridesmaid
Sallie was Meagan's first friend in junior high and they've been friends ever since - through many 3rd of July parties, Sallie's wedding and the birth of her two kids, countless wine days, many hangovers, and so many other life events. This wedding wouldn't be right without Sallie's dance moves and without her as a part of my bridal party.
Groomsman
Ryan met Joe freshman year and were also suitemates for a few years. Every boy band needs the responsible one and Joe fits that mold perfectly. From our skiing adventures to helping each other with projects to brainstorming the next world-changing App, Joe is the type of friend who will drop everything to help you. He also has a secret wild side (which is my favorite version of Joe).
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Meagan have been friends since junior high when we hung out at the school store every morning. Kristen stuck up for me when a classmate threatened to fight me, and she's been threatening boyfriends and having my back ever since. Kristen is the cause of many hangovers and also so many good memories and laughs and this day wouldn't be right without her mixing a drink before I walk down the aisle.
Groomsman
Tim and Ryan lived a few doors from each other during our freshman year and eventually became roommates. Tim and I also were lucky enough to live together in Brooklyn. My favorite experience was when we spent a week driving along the Pacific Coast Highway where we camped and took photos of the incredible landscape. Somehow, every major thing in my life involves Tim in some way and I’m so grateful for his friendship. I love Tim like a brother and there is no one that understands me more than he does.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey has also been Meagan's friend since junior high and we have had so many laughs, good conversations, and ridiculous memories, especially from wine days, beach houses, and 3rd of July or other pool parties. Lindsey's cha cha slide is the best you'll see and our wedding day wouldn't have been right without her energy and support alongside me.
Groomswoman
Lindsay is Ryan’s nonbiological sister and the daughter of my parent’s best friends. I have known Lindsay since the day she was born and we’ve shared a lifetime of memories together. Our families always vacationed together (including the extremely memorable RV trip to Florida) and celebrated all the holidays with each other. She is one of the most important and influential women in my life and I’m extremely grateful for her.
Bridesmaid
Nikki and Meagan have been friends since college and have had some of the best nights, traveled on an unforgettable trip to Haiti together, and are always ready for an adventure together. We've had the best laughs, ordered late night pizza (Pizza Days!!) too many times to count, always have each other's backs, and I couldn't imagine getting married without her as a part of the day.
Groomsman
Sean is Ryan’s nonbiological brother, the son of Ryan’s parent’s best friends, Lindsay’s brother, and will be marrying Alexis (love storyteller) in October. Like Lindsay, I’ve known Sean since the day he was born. Since he was the youngest, he got picked on the most but the joke was on us when he grew up to have muscles the size of tree trunks. Sean and Alexis are the reason I met and fell in love with Meagan and the four of us always have the best double dates.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Meagan have known each other since college, were also roommates in Providence after college and both ended up in New Hampshire, which has made Meagan's time in NH so much better. We love adventuring, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, and she is the reason for my love of yoga. Laura is the most loyal, caring, beautiful soul and I'm so lucky to have her in my life and by my side as I get married.
Groomsman
Andrew and Ryan were neighbors growing up and instant friends. We founded a friendship over endless hours of manhunt, paintball, our love of playing guitar, discovering new bands, video games, and making ridiculous movies. We shared every milestone growing up together, the biggest one being crashing an island wedding in Maine before the movie made it popular. We both have the honor of being groomsmen in each other’s weddings and he will always have to live with not being as good at Call of Duty as me.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and Meagan have been friends since college when they were involved with the campus programming board and college roommates. After college, we lived and went to grad school together in CT, and now we both work in higher education and volunteer together. Melissa is "my person" in many ways - the Pooh to my Piglet She is fiercely loyal, has been along for so many big life moments, and we have so much history together.
Groomsman
Chris and Ryan both met after moving to NH in the mid to late ’90s. A friendship that began over a mutual love of movies and video games developed into a great friendship with many incredible memories throughout middle and high school. Not too many people would suddenly decide to uproot their lives to take a chance on themselves in a strange new city as adults but that’s precisely the type of friend Chris is. The lifetime of these experiences has forever bonded us - “no matter what we end up doing, this is what we end up doing.”
Officiant
Nick and Meagan met while working at Bryant University, culminating in a proud moment where they worked together with students to bring a group of drag performers to perform on campus and dressed in drag together to promote the event (the pictures are pretty entertaining - maybe we'll show you one day). They've been fast friends ever since, Nick essentially becoming part of the Sage family for holidays and events. Once Ryan and Nick met, they were just as close just as fast, Ryan quickly vying for the title of "Nick's favorite" and the three of us remaining very close. When we thought of who we would want to marry us, there wasn't a moment's hesitation -- Nick is our person.
Love Storyteller
When Meagan moved to NH and started working at SNHU, Alexis was her first student worker, and after she graduated, they stayed connected and became friends. Alexis is engaged to Sean Harrington (also in our wedding party) who grew up with Ryan. Alexis and Sean introduced Meagan and Ryan and the rest is history. She will start our wedding and tell our story, since she is truly the reason it started.
