Matt & Meghann's story started as coworkers at a tech startup in DC, where casual coworker chats slowly turned into something more than either of them expected. Their first date was at E-street cinema, where Meghann quickly realized by the walk home that this was more than a movie night and was something truly special. What followed was a love story built in the most meaningful moments and adventures. Matt introduced Meghann to vegetables, gallantly holds every door open for her, cooks most of their meals, and is the best cat dad to both of their babies. Meghann brings warmth and laughter to Matt’s days, keeps him on his toes (literally and figuratively) by leaving her shoes scattered across the apartment, graciously cleans up from Matt’s messes introduced by cooking their meals, and brings the holiday spirit by decorating their apartment to offset Matt’s grinch-like behavior. They currently enjoy their lives in DC through their symphony and Broadway date nights at the Kennedy Center, to game nights and comedy shows with close friends in the area, to nights on the couch binging the best of reality television (The Great British Bake Off), to, unfortunately, the worst (Love Island). As they embark on this next chapter, they hope to spend their lives together traveling the world, exploring new places, spending time with loved ones and friends, and hunting down the best food they can find, whether it is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant or one of their Michelin Star excursions. They feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for all the wonderful people in their lives. They are thankful that you can take the time to celebrate their special day with them. They can’t wait to reminisce about old times and create new memories while dancing the night away under the stars.
