Yes. Unless you are a small child, we are politely requesting that if you are not vaccinated against COVID-19 you decline to attend the wedding and other events. We'd love to safely celebrate with you in a smaller group at a later date.
Yes. We understand that a vast majority our friends and family have received the COVID-19 vaccine. However, out of an abundance of caution, we will request that you present your vaccine card when you arrive to the wedding. A photo of your card is fine!
Not at this time. The rules in Michigan are changing rapidly, but as of this time, you will not be required to wear a mask to the event. However, we do ask that you consider wearing a mask when out in the city. We will have masks available for those who want them and the venue/event staff will be masked. Please check back frequently for updates.
Yes. Please do everything you can to be tested on your own within 48 hours of the event and have a copy of your test results. (A photo is fine). You can also use a home test. Just be sure to document your name on the test or a piece of paper and take a photo of it. For out of town guests - We will have tests available for you in your hotel room to self administer. Please be sure to write your name on your test and take a photo after taking the test the morning of. Alternate options - If you are unable to schedule or locate a test within 48 hours of the event, you can visit the groom's suite between the hours of 12:00-3:00 on the day of the wedding to be tested. We will have a limited number of tests. Grooms's suite location: The Foundation Hotel 250 W Larned St. Detroit, MI 482226 Secretary Suite We will have a limited number of tests at the wedding venue. If you do intend to be tested at the wedding site, please arrive promptly at 5:00
We would appreciate your not attending the event if you have any COVID-19 symptoms even if you've tested negative. We promise not to hold it against you and would love to celebrate with you later!
Semi-formal or cocktail attire. If you really like to dress up, feel free. If not, cocktail attire is great. Color and sparkle encouraged! Detroit can be chilly in April, so we recommend you don't leave your coat at home. We also recommend that you bring a sweater as we may have some doors open for circulation.
We've tried our very best to make sure we've addressed all significant others by name. If we didn't know names your invitation included "and guest." However, if you are not coupled or don't have an obvious date to bring, don't sweat it. We promise you'll have a fantastic time.
