FAQs

The Wedding Website of Meghan Foley and Tom Finneran
Please feel free to reach out to Meghan or Tom with any other questions leading up to our day! We are so excited to celebrate with you and are so grateful to everyone making the trip to Falmouth!
Question

I’m driving to the ceremony and/or reception. Where can I park?

Answer

If you choose to drive to the ceremony at St. Thomas Chapel, it is best to park on Deacon Ave, which is the street that runs behind the chapel and along Falmouth Harbor. Typically, there is plenty of parking on this street even for Sunday mass in the summer, so it should be easy enough to park here for the ceremony. If you choose to drive to the Coonamessett for the reception, there is a large parking lot in front that you can park in. Please feel free to leave your car in the lot overnight and take a taxi or Uber home. We checked with the venue coordinator and all cars can be left overnight and picked up the next day.

Question

What is the best way to get around Falmouth to the events if I don’t want to drive or don’t have a car with me?

Answer

Please feel free to give Falmouth Taxi a call to help with rides to any of the events. We spoke with them, and they noted the date to try to ensure that there are plenty of available drivers for the weekend. Their number is 508-548-3100. Rides can be pre-booked for convenience. Uber and Lyft are available in Falmouth as well. We will have a small shuttle at the end of the reception running from the Coonamessett to Falmouth Center (where the after party will be and this is also close to Inn on the Square or many of the other hotels in Falmouth). Hopefully this helps if anyone needs to leave a car at the Coonamessett or is having any trouble finding a ride/taxi/uber. Thank you!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we would love to have all the kids present, we are limited on space and kindly ask that the wedding events are adult only for this reason. Hopefully, our wedding will be a good excuse for a babysitter and a night out!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the welcome drinks, it is casual/cocktail attire, so feel free to wear dresses or skirts, blazers, or dress shirts and pants. For the wedding ceremony and reception, the dress code is semi-formal. This includes dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy pantsuits, and suits.

Question

I’m going to be hanging around Saturday after the wedding, what are some ideas of what to do?

Answer

Meghan and Tom are planning on heading to Cape Cod Winery in the afternoon to hang outside and enjoy some drinks, snacks, and live music (weather permitting) if anyone would like to join! This is not a formal/planned event, but we would love to see anyone who is staying in Falmouth for Saturday too! We will update if we change this plan due to inclement weather. Other suggestions can be found on the Things to Do tab on the website :)
