When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP by April 30th so we can have a final head count by May.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We aren't registered with any websites. We're only asking for cash to add to our house fund thank you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We said "colorful cocktail" but really we mean use this as an excuse to dress up and wear fun colors! The wedding party will be in black so dress bright.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Arrive by 6:45 to find parking and make your way to the building. Save the museum for the reception!

Does the reception strictly end at 9pm?

Answer

Don't feel any pressure to leave exactly at 9, we're just anticipating everyone to trickle out around then.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking may be difficult because of the art festival. It normally winds down in the evening so the Capitol Street Ramp and Dubuque Street Ramp should have availability. We don't recommend street parking. We do have permission to drive up to the Old Capitol to drop off anyone who can't walk extended distances.

Can I bring a date or children?

Answer

We are asking you to only bring those listed on your invitation to keep the wedding for close friends and family.

Where is the reception?

Answer

Same place as the wedding ceremony! The ceremony will lead straight into the reception and you don't need to go anywhere.

Will there be food and drink?

Answer

We will have small finger foods and cupcakes during the reception so eat before you arrive. We will also have non-alcoholic refreshments.
