Meghan and Sameep first crossed paths as MBA students at the University of Texas. Their very first interaction? A brief hello and a formal, overly enthusiastic handshake—definitely not what you’d call a “love at first sight” moment. But sometimes the best stories start quietly. Over the next year, Sameep often saw Meghan around campus, always with the same guy. Assuming she was in a relationship, he kept his distance. What he didn’t realize was that this “boyfriend” was actually her brother, Rohin! Timing, as they say, is everything. In the summer of 2022, life gave them a second chance. Meghan began her internship at Deloitte, where Sameep was already working full-time. Their paths crossed again, and this time, they truly connected. What started as casual chats and some friendly (and slightly suspect) career advice quickly grew into a genuine friendship. We like to think of it as “D-Harmony.” As Meghan’s internship wrapped up and she received her full-time offer, Sameep (purely coincidentally, of course) showed up to the celebratory happy hour. That evening, their friend groups ended up together at Polvo’s, and something clicked. Conversations flowed, laughter came easily, and what had felt like coincidence started to feel like fate. Their first official date at El Alma soon followed, and from that moment on, everything just felt right. What began with a handshake turned into a partnership filled with love, laughter, shared dreams, and countless margaritas.
