We met how most people do nowadays, we met online. We spent everyday talking for hours over the phone until 2-3 a.m. even if we had to get up at 5 a.m. the next day. We knew we were the perfect fit for each other and everything fell into place. Ryan became the best dog dad ever to Meghan's dog, Cedar (our beloved tri-pod). Cedar became even more spoiled after Ryan joined in on Cedar's lavish lifestyle that he became accustomed to after Meghan adopted him. Our little family has thrived and is the happiest we could ever be.

The engagement is a funny story looking back now, but very stressful for Ryan during the week long vacation. We got engaged in Gatlinburg, TN in the Smokey Mountains. During the first day of our trip while on our first hike we got told by a park ranger that all the trails were closing down due to one of the worst storms that the Smokey Mountains has had in decades and would last our entire trip. Our whole trip was revolving around the different hikes planned while there. Little did Meghan know that Ryan hired a photographer to document the proposal while on a hike to a waterfall. Due to all the trails being closed off for safety, Ryan spent the rest of the trip messaging the photographer daily to figure out new plans as trails opened and closed so quickly that it was going to be almost impossible for Ryan to pull off the proposal. Last morning of the trip a single trail opened up that lead to an old cabin in the middle of the woods. So that morning Ryan took Meghan on this hike, and Meghan was so excited since all the hikes got canceled all week. He proposed near the cabin and the photographer was able to document the moment with amazing photos that we will cherish forever. Poor Ryan spent the whole trip panicking he might not be able to propose but so glad he was able to pull it off the last day there.

Currently, we have settled down and really have embraced suburban life. We bought a home in March 2023 and have been able to settle in and make it our own. We designed and built a backyard to Cedar's specifications, as what he says goes in this household. We love the community we have built with new friends who have truly become family to us. We have really enjoyed setting down roots here and hoping we continue to thrive throughout our time in Phoenix.

We have decided to go to England, Scotland, and France for the honeymoon. We have always wanted to visit these countries and wanted to experience them together for the first time.
