GETTING TO THE VENUE
We have an exciting update to share! While we originally planned to celebrate with you in the Uintas, we’ve made a venue change and are thrilled to now be hosting our wedding at the beautiful Hailstone Event Center at Jordanelle Reservoir. This new location offers stunning views, easy access, and an unforgettable setting for our big day—we truly can’t wait to celebrate here with all of you.

Rivers Edge RV Resort
For those looking to make a full weekend out of the celebration, the bridal party will be staying at River’s Edge Resort, a charming glamping and RV park just a quick 12-minute drive from the Hailstone Event Center. The resort is currently holding a selection of accommodations for our group—including cabins, yurts, RV sites, and car camping spots. If you’re interested in staying there, you’ll need to CALL the resort directly AND mention Driscoll/Barrus wedding to reserve your preferred option by JUNE 15th. We currently have accommodations held for check-in on Aug 14th through check-out on Aug 16th. While we had to say goodbye to our original plans at Trial Lake, we’re hoping this still captures those same camp vibes we were so excited about—think cozy nights around the fire, lazy afternoons hanging by the creek, and plenty of time to unwind and connect with the people we love in a beautiful natural setting.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley
If you’re looking for something a bit more traditional (and with a few extra amenities), the newly built Grand Hyatt is just 4 minutes from the venue. It’s a wonderful option for a comfortable and convenient stay, and we highly recommend it for guests who prefer a hotel experience.

Of course, please feel free to stay wherever you’re most comfortable! Park City is about a 20-minute drive from the venue, while Heber and Midway are just 10–15 minutes away. All of these areas offer a wide range of accommodation options to fit different preferences and budgets. With this venue change, we’re hopeful it will make things more convenient and comfortable for everyone, while still allowing you to be immersed in the beauty of Utah. Whether you’re up for sightseeing, outdoor adventures, or simply relaxing and taking in the scenery, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
