Our ceremony and reception will be held at the Hailstone Event Center at Jordanelle Reservoir, just outside Park City, Utah.
The closest airport is Salt Lake City International Airport (about a 45-minute drive). We recommend renting a car or using a rideshare service to get to and from the venue.
Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony start time so you have time to park and find your seat.
Dress Code: Elevated Mountain Casual We invite guests to dress up while keeping comfort in mind. We envision women in flowy summer dresses and men in pants with button-up shirts. Comfortable shoes, as we will be on grass, and a light layer for after the sun has set are recommended.
August in Utah can get quite toasty in the afternoons, with daytime highs typically in the mid-80s. We do occasionally get passing afternoon thunderstorms over the lake—but they tend to roll through quickly and often make for an even more beautiful sunset afterward. As the sun goes down, temperatures drop off, so we recommend bringing a light layer to stay comfortable into the evening.
The celebration will be a little bit of both! We’ll be outdoors for the ceremony and much of the evening, soaking in the views and fresh mountain air. We’ll head inside the beautiful Hailstone Event Center to enjoy dinner together in a comfortable indoor space.
Yes! We want everyone to enjoy a delicious meal and feel well taken care of. Food will be served buffet style and will be an elevated, BBQ-inspired menu. Please let us know ahead of time about any dietary restrictions, allergies, or preferences, and we’ll do our best to accommodate them in our planning so everyone can enjoy a tasty meal.
Yes—kids are welcome! There’s plenty of space to run and play, we just ask that parents keep a watchful eye on little ones during the ceremony.
We’ll be providing beer, wine, champagne, and hard seltzers—no liquor will be served. We will also have several fun non-alcoholic drink options!
We kindly ask that only those named on your invitation attend. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you’d like to bring a plus one, just let us know ahead of time—we’ll do our best to accommodate when possible, and appreciate the notice so we can plan accordingly.
While we love all of our furry friends, our venue does not allow pets. They have made an exception to allow our dog Ruby to be part of the celebration. Please leave your pets at home so you can celebrate the night away with us!
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that you keep all phones and cameras tucked away until we are pronounced husband and wife. We’ve hired an amazing photographer to capture these moments so you can be fully present with us! Once the reception starts, feel free to take and share as many photos as you’d like.
