Jake and I met while working out at Lifetime Fitness! We were both working out with a friend, and I knew Jake's friend Bob from high school. I said hello and when I saw Jake I could not speak- which never happens! I have never believed in love at first sight- but it happened!

We were on a family trip with Jake's family in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. We rented an amazing house on the top of a mountain with an incredible view. During the day we did some sightseeing and enjoyed a moonshine tasting- which started the day off right! We went back to the house and everyone had dinner together, went in the hot tub, and we were about to play a card game when Jake asked to talk to me outside- I thought I was getting in trouble! He took me to the outside deck where shortly he got on one knee and proposed. It was just us and it was perfect!

For as long as I could remember, I have wanted a destination wedding (Meghan), and luckily I found a man who loves the beach, easy living, and to be surrounded by our closest family and friends on our most special day. We chose Jamaica because it is only a four hour flight from Chicago, we liked the "vibe," and thought it would be a perfect place to say "I do." Our vision for our wedding is for it to not only be a one day celebration, but rather spending quality time and celebrating with our loved ones while in paradise. We do not have any expectation for people to make the trip as we know it is costly and a time commitment. We hope that you can make it, though we understand if you cannot. We have created this website as a convenient and interactive way to share all the details with you leading up to our wedding.
