A Few Things to Know
Question

I've never been to a Jewish Wedding. What should I expect?

Answer

Hey, no worries! We gotcha. Here's a quick glossary for some terms you might encounter. Chuppah- The Canopy under which the couple is wed. The 4 posts symbolize the home the couple will build together. Ketubah - Marriage Contract Mitzvah - A meritorious or Charitable act, or a "good deed" Horah - A traditional dance performed while holding hands in a circle. It is customary at weddings to raise the bride and groom up in chairs while they wave a handkerchief.

Question

How do I Dance The Hora?

Answer

Grab hands and grapevine in a circle. Lots of families do it a little different but for a quick tutorial click on the link. https://youtu.be/pGTho2a9t9k?si=7bpqfoHlWkzkgHwl

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged for a complimentary Valet Service for your convenience. If you are feeling bold, you are also able to self park on the streets surrounding the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We won't be providing any shuttles to and from the hotel, however both the hotel and the venue will have Valet available. Valet at the venue will be complimentary.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. The few little ones you will see have special roles to play during our ceremony.

Question

Hey Meg, are you changing your name?

Answer

Nope! Or at least not anytime soon.
