After about a year of working together at various theaters throughout Chicago, Meghan and Jack decided to take a chance on each other. During their first date they bonded over good beer, great movies, musicals and whether or not Nicolas Cage is in fact the most interesting actor in Hollywood. Not two days later did Meg and Jack agree to attend a Dead and Company concert at Wrigley Field together. You might say the gamble paid off. Throughout their partnership the couple has grown stronger together, facing life head on. From the joyful experiences like graduations, traveling to new places, trying new foods, growing their family with the adoption of their beloved cat Amigo to the challenges like long distance, complicated tour schedules, unemployment, COVID and surgeries, Meghan and Jack have been there to help each other through it. On Meghan’s thirtieth birthday Jack arranged for a very special night at one of their favorite spots in Chicago, The Chicago Athletic Association Hotel. They had already celebrated many occasions here at The Cherry Circle Room, including their six month and five year anniversaries. After seven years together, Jack finally popped the question with the opening line “I thought it was about time…” and Meghan of course replied with “Yes, Duh”. The night went on to include a yet another dinner at The Cherry Circle Room. As it would happen, the newly engaged couple were seated in the exact same booth as they were the first time they had dined there together. It's going to be quite a difficult birthday to top. Meghan and Jack (and Amigo!) are so excited to build their future together. But they especially cannot wait to celebrate with every one of you.
