Matron of Honor
Kathleen and Meghan's friendship started over 22 years ago (the exact moment has been long contested, but rest assured it's been decades). Kathleen and Meghan started their friendship early with playful, genuine atmosphere, making potions or playing games. Despite being months younger, Kathleen was always taking care of Meghan - whether it be advocating with teachers or helping her figure out how to call AAA, she had an indomitable energy. Travelling through different social groups, Kathleen and Meghan always held tightly to each other, happy to be together in everyday moments. Even though it's been years since they lived close by, distance has had no effect on their closeness. With the longest-running game of phone tag known to man, they contented themselves with frequent holiday visits and birthday trips. Whether it be wandering down Bourbon Street or the Vegas strip, or sitting in bed and watching shows, their visits always feed the soul and they can talk about anything. As always, Kathleen has supported Meghan the entire way through wedding planning.
Maid of Honor
In twenty years of friendship, Simone and Meghan have never wavered. When Meghan found her prom dress, Simone was the first person who had to hear about it (reminding her not to call the color gray, call it charcoal), and now they have graduated to wedding dress shopping. Throughout middle school, high school and college, they stayed together with basement sleepovers, nights at the movies, and dorm room visits. As new graduates in suburbia, they had weekly tv show Thursdays and walks between their houses. They moved to Astoria together and being roommates in the city for seven years was the best sleepover Meghan ever had. They traveled together and still to this day reminisce with “we’ll always have Paris.” They quarantined for months together, working in the living room together, and holding their own two-person gallery nights in the apartment. When they moved out, they had to find apartments down the road so that they could still have their roommate tv nights. When Dan proposed, nothing felt more natural than sharing their day with Simone, (who wore a disguise and hid behind a tree to take the perfect proposal photos), as our Maid of Honor.

After being paired as new student buddies in fifth grade, Miriam and Meghan decided that a twenty-year commitment to the assignment only made sense. Staying close throughout middle school and high school, playing basement board games, writing ‘modern’ screenplays, going to a summer program to Rhode Island, attending school dances together, and graduation pool parties and beach trips, their friendship became intercontinental fifteen years ago. Miriam and Meghan held on with zoom calls, virtual pub trivia nights, and girls trips to London, Wales and Manchester- complete with custom-made car bingo. Sharing postcards, birthday cards and letters- Miriam was Meghan’s first recipient of an international stamp. As far away as Miriam has lived, she still made time to fly back for birthday trips to NYC, Philadelphia and even Central Jersey, on a holiday she still refers to as “Meghan’s Eve.” This day would not feel complete without Miriam.
Groomsman
Austin and Dan both enjoy being pet owners. Austin loves his dog and shares photos with Dan as he has grown up over the years. They both enjoy a good drink together out at a bar and listening to country music.
Groomsman
Michael and Dan enjoy traveling together. When Dan worked at JetBlue they traveled on standby to Los Angeles, Boston, New Orleans, and Puerto Rico. Enjoying the cultures of each of these locations traveling together to Disney Land, seeing a Red Sox game, walking down Bourbon Street, and jet skiing.
Best Man
Patrick enjoys sharing music with Dan including Rock n Roll and playing his guitar. They enjoy playing Mario and other video games. He is the youngest brother and they share a close bond.
Groomsman
Ross and Dan are both the closest in age. Growing up they shared friendly competitions over sports and who had the most friends. They took Karate together and have tons of overlapping friends since they are 6 months apart.

Erica and Meghan started their friendship with a chat sitting together on curb late one night their freshman year of college and never stopped talking. Finding another who liked long hugs and adventures (from semi-successful dance classes to unsuccessful karaoke scavenger hunts) they were never too busy to find aesthetic corners of the library for studying, to have cramped dorm room sleepovers in the same twin bed, or to reenact scenes from the Notebook. Erica and Meghan are always there to try things together and they can talk about anything. They also love their crafts- and an outing is only ever one date away. They’ve gone to candle workshops, painted pottery ornaments, melted crayon canvases and painted bird houses. When they’re together it’ll be hard to stop Meghan from grabbing Erica’s hand as her sweet personality is too hard to resist a hug.
Bridesmaid
Rebecca and Meghan first met when they both lived on the same floor in their freshmen year in college. As the dorm rooms changed, Rebecca never stopped tucking Meghan in when she was sick and calling to check on her when she was alone in a thunderstorm. They both moved to the city after graduation and enjoyed exploring trendy city bars, restaurants and sights. Ever caring for her friends, when Meghan was learning how to cook on her own for the first time, Rebecca panic invited her over for dinner to make sure she was eating well. When Meghan had an office bake sale, Rebecca supervised/made the cookies, but let Meghan take all of the credit. Now that Rebecca has settled in London, Meghan keeps her appraised of NYC happening. Rebecca is always available for advice and support and this year has been no different as Meghan and Dan approach their wedding day.
Groomsman
C.J. and Dan have been friends for over 15 years. From Middle School to working at Pet Supplies Plus together in High School and even both getting their bachelor degrees at SUNY Farmingdale they are close friends.
Groomsman
Dan’s Groomsman and Meghan’s baby brother Meghan had first thought that having a little sister could have been nice, but after meeting her perfect baby brother she never again wished for anything else. There was nothing more fun than drawing pictures of Daniel, reading to him or playing with him. Daniel brought the wisdom of an old soul that made him a perfect companion for siblings who were seven years older. When Meghan started her first post-grad job, she treasured spending a couple of extra years living with Daniel, seeing him every day, driving him around town and attending school events. Today they both live in the city, and Dan and Meghan love attending Daniel’s band shows, visiting his trendy SOHO bar recommendations and luring him up to Queens for dinner. Still an old soul, Daniel is a constant reliable source of wise advice and comfort. But he will always be Meghan's baby brother.
Bridesmaid
Even before becoming a sister-in-law, Lekha was Meghan’s fast friend. Growing close in the last few years, they’ve shared holidays, weddings, family trips and furry nephews (Casper, Leo, and a new baby coming soon!) together. They even had the opportunity to share a bunk bed during a recent family trip to Paris, which both Lekha and Meghan found surprisingly delightful as adults in their thirties. They’ve loved sharing weekends together visiting each other in Queens, Cleveland, Philadelphia, or Cincinnati. Meghan even gracefully conceited her crown as having the best handwriting in the family, as Lekha’s artistic calligraphy is something to behold. As a newlywed, Lekha has brought advice, support, and understanding to Meghan throughout the wedding planning process.
Groomsman
Dan's Groomsman and Meghan's "wombmate" Meghan’s best birthday present is always getting to share the day, near or far, with Ryan. When they got to have their own bedrooms at age five, Ryan and Meghan asked for their beds to be placed against the same shared wall so that they could still sleep next to each other. When Meghan was home sick from school, Ryan would paint her a picture (not his favorite activity, so usually it was a circle). Playing beach games in the summer, taking ice skating lessons in the winter, Ryan took Meghan on imaginative games, stories and races. When Meghan drove to senior year of high school and was afraid to move her hands from the steering wheel of their car ‘Alejandro’, Ryan would honk the horn or change the radio. Ryan always knows exactly what Meghan wants for birthdays (usually something she picked out to get for herself and never told anyone about) and no one makes her laugh as hard. Just as they learned to ride a bicycle on the same day, this milestone would not be complete for Meghan and Dan except for sharing it with Ryan.
Bridesmaid
Laura and Meghan became roommates and lifelong friends in their second year of college. Laura's infectious, friendly spirit, made it an easy transition. They would go on jogging-latte-Netflix dates (in that order!) on nice days. When they graduated, Laura often visited Meghan in Astoria, before moving to the city a few years later. They sang karaoke (Laura with a lot of talent, and Meghan without), took scenic sunset Hudson boat rides, and played on kickball in the most yellow shirts ever seen. Laura braided Meghan's hair and matched her palette shades, they went on weekend trips and rooftop jaunts, had board game evenings, and almost watched NYE fireworks together. Laura and Meghan have always been there for each other, and the wedding day will be no exception.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Meghan started off their friendship as college roommates for three years. When Meghan hung up their dorm decorations with duct tape, Rachel decided that she should probably take care of Meghan, making her hot chocolate when she was down, picking out outfits, folding laundry, making coffee, and putting her phone in rice after a washing machine journey. They studied together (sometimes in Rachel’s engineering building), had very late weekend brunches, played inter-mural flag football, went to French movie screenings, and threw Galentine’s Day brunches, complete with little wall illustrations. Once they graduated, Rachel and Meghan enjoyed hosting each other to Delaware or Queens respectively, seeing broadway shows, holiday walking tours, or botanical gardens. Meghan flew to Munich to visit Rachel on a work assignment, and Rachel traveled to the Jersey Shore to concede to many sunrise wake-ups. If Meghan compliments a hair clip, it arrives in the mail straight from Delaware. Meghan and Dan’s day would not be complete without sharing it with Rachel.
