Meghan and Dan matched on Hinge on Christmas Eve in 2020. Their first date was a few weeks later - sitting outside at a local Astoria coffee shop, drinking Chai Lattes. Meghan and Dan return every January to recreate their first date.

After two years of neighborhood walks, museum dates, holidays, and local music festivals, Meghan and Dan moved in together in May 2023.

Meghan and Dan adopted their kitten Casper in October 2023. He was two pounds and too small to jump into bed, so he had to be carried in once Dan was asleep.

Dan planned a "surprise" date to an Italian restaurant in Long Island City on January 18, 2025. After their meal, Dan walked Meghan to the water front and proposed (in the rain!).
