Transportation will be provided to and from Sweet Pea’s Farm. The pick up locations will be at Edenbrook Motel and the Town Pier. Pick up and drop off time have been emailed directly to you. Parking at the venue is extremely limited so in fairness to all we have designated bus times for everyone. For anyone that is unable to use the provided transportation due to extenuating circumstances please let us know to confirm availability of parking.
Dress code is cocktail attire.
Cocktail hour will be outside on the patio followed by dinner and dancing in a heated tent. Early May in Maine can still be quite cold, so please remember to bring layers and dress appropriately.
As much as we love all of your children (especially our nephews), this is an Adult Only event. Please contact us if you need assistance finding a babysitter.
Easy Walk the Shore path - The shore path starts at the town pier and goes along the coast close to town. This is a short easy walk for those looking for views without the sweat. Bar Island - Bar Island is a small island of the coast of Bar Harbor that is accessible during low tide. This short walk provides great views of the island. Be careful not to get stuck if the tide comes in. Moderate Gorham Mountain - Takes about 1.5 hours for some of the best views. This mountain provides great ocean views as well as views for sand beach. This is one of our favorite hikes. Eagle Lake - Follow a 6 mile carriage road around the lake. This is great for a run or a bike ride for those looking to get an exercise in. Challenging The Bubbles - Named for their resemblance to bubbles, North Bubble and South Bubble are famous for their views at Jordan Pond and for the balancing rock on top. A very classic Bar Harbor Hike. Dorr Mountian - This is the mountain version of the stair master. The views aren’t great, but the workout is second to none. Cadillac Mountain - The tallest mountain on Mount Desert Island. Also the first place sunrise touches in the United States. There is also an option to drive to the top for those who want to save their steps for the dance floor.
Drive the park loop road - See all the sights of Acadia from the comfort of your car. Be sure to stop at Sand Beach and Thunder Hole. Shop in downtown Bar Harbor - Main Street and Cottage Street offer a variety of gift shops and other stores for the shopaholics out there. Golf - Squeeze in a round of golf at the idyllic Kebo Valley. Grab some food at The Links to refuel after. Bike - rent a bike and bike around Bar Harbor’s carriage roads including Eagle Lake and Jordan Pond. Drink - Grab a beer at Atlantic Brewing or the Dog & Pony, a cocktail at the Barnacle or a drink outside at the Ivy Manor
