Flying In

All guests will need to fly into Lihue (LIH). There are direct flights from west coast cities such as LAX, SFO, OAK, PDX, SEA and DEN. Alternatively, you can connect through Honolulu (HNL).

There are many housing options available on the south side of the island including homes, condos & hotels. The link below will lead you to some of our favorite options all of which are within a short drive of the Kukui'ula property.

Rental Car

Getting Around

The airport is about 20 minutes away from the South side of the island. Uber + Lyft are not as readily available, and taxis are not guaranteed. We recommend renting a car, especially if you want to do activities around the island. Hertz, Avis, Thrifty, Budget and Enterprise are all located at the airport. Alternatively, Turo has become quite popular on the island and very easy to use for car rentals. Keep in mind that pick up for these rental vehicles will require you to take a taxi or get a ride to where the vehicle is parked. Here are some recommended taxi and car services you can book in advance. We suggest using these for airport or similar transportation only, not for daily use. Please note that some are cash-only.
