Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Megan Pellock and Bradley Sigsworth
If you are bored during your time in St. Louis then you are doing it wrong. The bride grew up in and around the St. Louis area and can tell you all the ins and outs of what to do, where to eat and even places that the couple went out on dates.

Saint Louis Zoo

1 Government Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

The bride has a special place in her heart for the Saint Louis Zoo. Not only did she grow up going to the Zoo with her family, she later worked there for 3.5 years. The Saint Louis Zoo is an accredited AZA institution and admission is FREE (Zoo parking lots does cost—however there is lots of street parking in Forest Park). With over 12,000 animals, representing nearly 450 species, there is something for everyone to see and do (can you tell the bride did this for a living?)

Saint Louis Art Museum

1 Fine Arts Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110

Another free attraction, Saint Louis Art Museum sits atop of Art Hill for a perfect place to picnic or start your walk around Forest Park.

Missouri History Museum

5700 Lindell Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63112

Another free attraction around Forest Park

City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

The biggest jungle gym for the biggest kid at heart. Be prepared to walk, crawl, slide, duck and climb through a fan-favorite attraction in St. Louis. Oh, and you can't miss the giant yellow school bus on the roof. The fun speaks for itself.

Budweiser Brewery Experience

1200 Lynch Street, St. Louis, MO 63118

If you are beer connoisseur or just like to drink, check out Budweiser brewery for tours of their plant or meet the famous Clydesdales that you may have seen in a Super Bowl commercial.

Gateway Arch National Park

St. Louis, MO 63102

"Oh hey, look it's the Arch!" Not only is it a national park, there is a free museum in the building about why it is named "The Gateway to the West" and how the Arch was built. Tickets are available for purchase to up to the top of the Arch—630 feet high!

360 Rooftop Bar

We had dinner here right before Brad proposed. Beautiful views and amazing drinks? Say no more.

Zia's on The Hill

5256 Wilson Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110

It was Megan's birthday weekend and Brad came down and picked her up after work from the Zoo. She was having a particularly rough day. He took her to the delicious Zia's on the Hill where they shared dinner and lots of laughs together.

City Foundry STL

3730 Foundry Way, St. Louis, MO 63110

This is a big food hall with a variety of different food options. A family-friendly food place for casual bites. There are lots of shops around the Foundry too.

Kingside Diner (CWE)

236 North Euclid Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63108

A perfect breakfast or brunch place located in the heart of the Central West End

Session Taco - Delmar Loop

6235 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63130

There are quite a few locations across St. Louis—Delmar Loop is closest to the hotel; Soulard location is closest to the venue—but look no further for great tex-mex style tacos

Salt + Smoke

6525 Delmar Boulevard, University City, MO 63130

The bride's favorite location is in Delmar Loop but there is another location downtown next to Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. Brad and Megan, along with Megan's family, often go to Salt + Smoke for their incredible BBQ and their mouth-watering, never-forget-about-it mac and cheese. Megan is serious—it is literally the best.

Schlafly Bottleworks

7260 Southwest Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63143

Ballpark Village

601 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63102

Catch a Cardinals baseball game or visit Ballpark Village for a family-friendly, fun atmosphere. Big TV screens showing all kinds of sports games — from St. Louis sports teams to the Kentucky Derby — that will get any fan excited. During the day, kids are allowed in the building so they can enjoy some delicious food as well.
