All because of a job at the Bone Student Center...

Followed by an Instagram DM

Brad and Megan worked at the Bone Student Center during their time at Illinois State University. It was Megan's first shift as a section supervisor on the top floor greeting and scanning tickets. Brad was cleaning uniforms when he stopped to talk to the girl he had not met yet. They talked for about twenty minutes before the show, "Whose Live is it Anyway," started. Megan thought he was very cute but assumed he was just being friendly to the new girl. Brad, on the other hand, thought she was adorable and couldn't stop thinking about her. Several months later at work, she came in with a boot after breaking her toe. After that shift, it was game over for Brad: He couldn't stop thinking about her. Fast forward three years later, Megan and Brad had both graduated from Illinois State, living in their respective cities and working full-time. Brad got word that Megan was single and knew he had to make his move. After overthinking what the perfect message could be, he sent her an Instagram message saying "Hey Megan! How's it going?" They texted for a month a half before their first date in Bloomington, where they first met three years before. It was a successful first date with only a handful of awkward moments. They decided to go out for lunch the next day before they parted ways. Megan had done long-distance before and assured that it isn't easy. In Brad's word, "I waited three years to go on a date with you. I am not waiting any longer." Now, the rest is history. After four years of hours-long phone calls, many miles driven, hard conversations and making long-distance work, they finally live in the same city and ready to start the next chapter of life together.
