Christiania Lodge at Vail

Welcome to wedding headquarters. Ski chalet at the base of Gondola 1 where we will host our welcome party and other gatherings throughout the weekend. To make a reservation, please CALL (970) 306-0180. (You will not be able to book through the website). There are 22 rooms available and we are anticipating about 100 guests, so if you are interested in one of these rooms, we recommend booking early.

Tivoli Lodge is a cozy, mountain-side hotel in the heart of Vail. The hotel is adjacent to the venue for the welcome party, pickup location for reception and an easy walk to all that Vail has to offer.

Austria Haus is a family-owned boutique hotel located at the entrance to Vail Village. Wonderful lounge and pool overlooking Gore Creek, and steps to the famous covered bridge and excitement of city center.

Flight

Eagle County Regional Airport

It's a short 30 minute drive or 1 hour bus from EGE to Vail. This is the easiest and closest airport to fly through, and there is a convenient bus that leaves on the hour (schedule linked) that will take you to the Vail Transportation Center in Vail Village. If you prefer to book a shuttle from the airport, we recommend Epic Mountain Express.

Flight

Denver International Airport

It's typically about a 2 hour drive to Vail from Denver (but it can take longer if there is traffic on I-70). If you go this route, you can rent a car, schedule a shuttle or take the Bustang from Union Station (West Line to Vail). There may be traffic going back on Sunday, so we would recommend booking a flight later in the day.

Travel Note

Uber / Lyft

Uber and Lyft are not available at the EGE airport to encourage use of the bus system. Rides are available in Vail Village and the surrounding towns, but please anticipate a possible 20 minute wait for a ride. That is not always the case, but it does happen sometimes. Once you're in Vail Village, everything is accessible on foot or the Vail bus system.
