Matron of Honor
Annemarie is Megan's older sister and lifelong confidante. Annemarie and Megan enjoy each other much more than the world likely appreciates and have the memories to prove it. Always able to make any experience fun, Annemarie and Megan used to make an adventure of cleaning Annemarie's room or walking to the ice cream shop for a smoothie. Annemarie and Megan both joined Annemarie's high school Spanish club, despite Annemarie's enrollment in Japanese and Megan's in middle school. They always manage to make an outing ridiculous and fun - whether driving around Des Moines to the tune of various homemade mix CDs, working at various retail establishments, or staying at an alpaca farm in Illinois.
Best Man
John is Sean’s older brother and best friend. John and Sean spent much of their childhood on adventures - a common theme of which seems to have been climbing things that ought not be climbed. John and Sean remained close long after the urge to climb water towers passed. Sean even lived with John and his lovely wife, Dawn, for a time after college. Nowadays, Sean and John are fond of taking in a game on television, beer in hand, with the odd philosophical debate during the less exciting parts of the game, while Dawn and Megan compare Pinterist projects of interest.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn and Megan met in middle school, bonding during the trials and tribulations of middle school basketball. They went on all sorts of adventures, but the most common entailed walking all over Farmington Hills, MI until they got too tired and called Katelyn's father to fetch them from one random part of town or another. Since Megan moved from Michigan, Katelyn and Megan have made annual treks to visit one another, adding to the ever growing list of wonderful best friend adventures across the Midwest.
Groomsman
Brian is Sean's older brother and friend. Despite living in different states, Sean and Brian have regular visits, meeting in the middle or in Kansas City whenever possible. Visits with Brian and his wonderful wife, Lisa, are one of Sean and Megan's favorite reasons to roadtrip. They both share a great passion for craft beer and keep a regular chat going about the new and different beers on the market. Sean greatly looks forward to whenever Brian's lovely children's interests bring him into visiting distance and immediately begins hunting for their next beer adventure.
Bridesmaid
Taylor and Megan met in high school, having sat near one another in French class and have been friends ever since. After moving on to college, graduate school, and first grown up jobs, Taylor and Megan have always made sure to have regular coffee dates, shopping trips crafting dates and movie marathons to swap stories and keep up to date with each other. They have rung in many a New Year ensconced in Taylor's family basement, eating vast quantities of sugar and watching absolutely absurd romantic comedies.
Groomswoman
Bernadette is Sean's longtime (and Megan's more recent) friend. Sean and Bernadette met while working at Worlds of Fun during college and stayed close friends. Bernadette and her husband, Jeremy, were the very first friends that Sean introduced Megan to when they first started dating. Bernadette and Megan became fast friends and the foursome has had an array of fun and memorable adventures over the years, including many a winery visit, beer tasting, and Alexa playlist battles (which Bernadette always wins).
Bridesmaid
Kami and Megan met in college, having both joined Delta Gamma as freshman at Drake University and forever cementing their bond while serving as the group's social chairs. After years of having to rely solely on phone calls and texts during the graduate school and first grown up job years, Kami and Megan love being back in the same state so they can spend many a weekend morning meeting in the middle for a long chat over brunch.
Groomswoman
Mary and Sean have been great friends since college and have gone on many adventures, including amazing trips to China and Germany. Both are huge fans of craft beer and regularly exchange packages of new and different beers. Sean and Megan both look forward to visits with Mary and her lovely partner, Mike. Most recently, they had an excellent adventure in Baltimore for a mutual friend's wedding.
Flower Girl
Rhyann is Megan's oldest niece. Rhyann is smart, sassy and creative. Rhyann has a great sense of style and has inherited the Browning bossiness streak. Rhyann is a great lover of animals, all things athletic and crafty activities.
Flower Girl
Keely is Megan's youngest niece. Keely is quick-witted, smart and very funny. Keely inherited the Shanks sweet tooth and would live on whipped cream if given the option. She loves crafting, animals and all things with bows.
Ring Bearer
Chase is Sean's youngest nephew. Chase is incredibly bright and energetic. He loves sports, Lego and video games. He inherited the Conway fondness for climbing and adventure.
Officiant
Matt is Sean's close friend and former roommate. Matt and Sean largely communicate in an endless array of inside jokes, movie quotes, comedy sketches and deep philosophic debates. Matt is incredibly thoughtful, compassionate and insightful - traits that make him a wonderful friend and will make him an amazing pastor (his current field of study). Megan and Sean are absolutely thrilled to have him officiate their wedding!
