We're Getting Married! ¡Nos Casamos!

We grew up in different countries, but fate brought us together. Now we celebrate finally closing the distance with marriage.

All it took was one look to know he was special. And after a few more, I knew I had him hooked! But really, for those who don't know, we met at work. He came to my office for a work meeting and when our eyes met across the room, it's like we were both thinking that needed to know more about each other. We didn't actually talk during that initial meeting though. After he left the US, he found me on social media and we had our first real conversation (how millennial of us). I remember asking him if he was going to text me the next day, and he told me he will talk to me everyday, which is a promise he has kept. A month after that first conversation we finally got to see each other in person. We enjoyed a wonderful week together in January 2015, but unfortunately it ended all too soon. There was never really a question about whether or not we would continue this relationship long distance because we just knew how well our hearts and souls fit together. And fast forward 3 years to May 2018, he asked me to be his wife and spend forever with him. Now we're closing the distance and ready to commit to each other forever as husband and wife.

Una vez que nos miramos en esa oficina, nunca más dejamos de pensarnos. No tardamos mucho en saber que la distancia no nos detendría de estar juntos algún día. Viajamos 2300 km. cada 2 ó 3 meses por más de 4 años y un sólo abrazo valía la pena cada vez. La distancia sólo hizo que nuestra relación fuera más fuerte, sólo nosotros comprendemos todo lo que tuvimos que pasar para estar juntos al final. Por fin terminaremos con la distancia y empezaremos una nueva historia.
