This story starts in childhood when Megan was just the annoying younger sister to one of Jacob’s childhood best friends.

Jacob and Megan would have many run ins throughout the years, but their love story doesn’t begin until a New Year’s kiss in 2008.

Since then, they would have stolen moments and kisses until Jacob moved to San Diego, CA and Megan to Hutchinson, MN to pursue their careers.

They would think of each other throughout the years and wonder what might have been. But, they wouldn’t reconnect until April 2018.

They went on their first date on 6/02/2018. Despite initial nervousness, they quickly discovered a feeling of comfort and ease. The two easily navigated the challenges of school, career, and distance.

In Winter 2018 they took their first vacation together to their future home of Phoenix, AZ. They made many memories including attending a basketball game, the botanical gardens, and hiking Sedona.

They spent Christmas that year with Jacob’s family and participated in several activities including: Bentleyville, Glensheen Mansion, and attending the movies on Christmas Day.

The Spring before their move was busy and packed full of family and friend events including baptisms, dinners, going away parties, graduations...

And beautiful weddings. They had no idea they would be next.

On 6/01/2019 they loaded up a U-Haul, 2 cars, and a cat and travelled to the next phase of their life. Excited for what was next to come.

Once at their new home, they enjoyed exploring the area, museums, scenery and just making each other smile.

In August, they added to their family and got a puppy. On 5/31/2020 that puppy announced that his humans were getting married.

On 4/17/2021 the pair will once again enter into a new chapter. #MeganhittheJakepot🎰

On April 17th, 2021 they said “I Do!”

And they couldn’t be happier!
