Question

What should I be aware of before visiting Las Vegas?

Answer

Footwear: You’ll likely want to do a lot of sightseeing outside of events related to our big day. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes as the “Strip” will have you doing a lot of walking!! Water: Water on the strip is expensive so be prepared! You may want to bring along a water bottle or purchase at low cost places on the strip (CVS, Walgreens, Target etc) ATM Fees: ATM charges are high (up to $10 or more)! If you want to do some gambling or just use cash while in Vegas it may be a good idea to bring this with you before you leave, or go to a bank off strip for lower fees. Weather: Vegas is hot/warm, dry, and dusty at times. Be sure to bring appropriate attire for not only our big day, but also for the tourist in you! Remember to pack some lotion or ask for extra minis at your hotel. You will need it!

Question

What is the best way to get around Vegas?

Answer

From the airport: Uber, Lyft, or Taxi is the easiest way to get to your hotel from the airport. If you have the Uber or Lyft app you may be able to save some money as these are slightly cheaper than a taxi. THERE IS NO NEED TO RENT A CAR. If you rent a car it will likely sit in the hotel parking lot. Save your money! If you really need to make your way off strip for something contact the bride and groom, they will have a vehicle. On the Strip: Walking. The strip is very walkable despite very long. You can easily catch a cab or ride share service from one end to the next, as well as the monorail. Vegas is filled with pedestrian bridges, escalators and elevators to help you get around. Scooters: If you’re unsure about all that foot travel, most hotels offer scooter rentals at affordable prices right at the bell desk. Our hotel recommendations will consist of Caesar’s/Harrah’s properties who all have this available.

Question

Do you have a hotel room block?

Answer

No! Room block was canceled in exchange for a better discount so please book early! Call the number on our travel page and use code “CCWED” for savings during your stay!

Question

Are children or dates allowed at your wedding?

Answer

Due to limitations pertaining to the number of guests, only those listed on an invitation will be permitted at our wedding. While we would love to include children or meet your own special person, we would like to reserve our limited spaces for family and friends.

Question

What type of clothing should I pack?

Answer

We recommend cocktail/dress attire for our ceremony. Outside of that we recommend casual attire, swimwear, comfy clothes, and comfortable shoes!

Question

What are the ceremony details?

Answer

Details regarding the ceremony can be located on our “Events” page. Aside from that it is important to know the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We recommend arriving around 4:45 to be sure you don’t miss it. The ceremony will take place outdoors, with an indoor venue available in the case of inclement weather.

Question

What are the reception details?

Answer

The reception will be held at Black Tap located in the Venetian. It will be a patio setting with food and music for all to enjoy! Let us know about dietary restrictions or inform the server upon arrival.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have dietary restrictions we likely know about it because you are our closest friends and family. However, it may be a good idea to remind us just in case. Email us at Appleton.megan@gmail.com and remind us of your needs. We will be sure to find delicious food options that everyone will enjoy!

Question

What if I can’t attend your wedding?

Answer

No worries! If you would still like to participate you will be able to see our ceremony live streamed. The video will be accessible for 5 days. Once we have a link we will update it right on our homepage!

Question

I didn’t get an invite! Don’t you want me at your wedding?

Answer

Of course we do! Since both bride and groom come from MASSIVE families, it is impossible to include everyone due to the guest limitations set forth by the venue. You can still watch our ceremony via a live stream, and we will share that link on our home page. We would love to celebrate with you at a later time and are missing you just as much ❤️

For all the days along the way
