Question

What is the attire for the event?!

Answer

Meg and Rob are known to use any excuse to dress up! That said, we are requesting that guests wear black-tie optional attire. For guests planning to wear a suit, this would mean full suits with ties, and tuxedos are welcome if you feel so inclined. For guest planning to wear a dress or gown, floor length, ankle length, or midi length options would bring a wonderful elegance to the evening. We hope everyone enjoys getting dolled up and ready to celebrate!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm. The venue will open for guest to arrive at 4:00 pm. Please arrive AT LEAST 15 minutes early to allow plenty of time for everyone to settle in. We promise we won't make you wait too long before we get the party started!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle will be available to transport guests from the Hyatt to the venue for the ceremony, as well as to transport guests back to the hotel throughout the evening. Parking is also available at the venue in the adjacent parking garage, and Uber is another great option to get around the city. The first shuttle to the venue will leave the Hyatt at 3:45 pm. We encourage everyone to take the shuttle if possible to avoid driving as there is an event in Rochester the same weekend, and parking may be limited.

Question

I am coming in from out of town, what should I do to fill my time?

Answer

There is plenty to do to fill your time in and around Rochester. Check out some Finger Lakes wineries, one of the many museums, or even venture to Niagara Falls! You can see all our recommendations on the "Things To Do" page of this website.

Question

Are there any COVID-19 safety protocols?

Answer

We have invited all of our guests with the hope that everyone can share in the love and joy of the day! That said, we will have at-risk guests in attendance and want to ensure everyone's health. If you are not vaccinated and boosted, we strongly encourage you to take a rapid test 1-2 hours before the wedding. Tests can be available upon request. Have any further questions? You're in luck - Meg & Rob both have masters degrees in Public Health. Feel free to reach out to us!
